3 Days Safari Zanzibar to
Selous Game Reserve
Overview
You’re in for a treat if you have 3 days to spend in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve). This is a wonderful park for both wildlife and landscapes, and 3 days here will give you a real taste of what Nyerere has to offer. Apart from its watery expanses and river frontage, the park is famous for its wildlife that includes lion, elephant, giraffe, hippo, crocodile and so much more.
This is one park where you might even see lions hunting giraffes. The presence of the Rufiji River along the park’s boundary adds many different safari possibilities, and a boat trip out on the river is one of the best things you can do here.

Tour Plan
Early in the morning, Our driver will pick you up from your hotel at 6:00am to zanzibar airport and after short break , you will take a flight a 8:00am to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park). Then around 9:30 am you will arrive at Mtemere Airstrip in Selous where you will met your tour guide who will transfer you for the check-in at your Lodge before lunch. After having your lunch late leave for a romantic sunset boat safari along the Great Rufiji river. you will be awesome views of crocodiles basking on the banks, hippos growling, and with a lot of birds species to spott before heading back to your lodge for dinner and relaxation.Meals: Lunch and dinner
Your day will start with delicious breakfast before drive into the vast Selous Game Reserve to explore the diverse wildlife and beautiful nature for a full spotting day. Luck enough to spot the Big Five animals as elephants, lion, leopard, rhino and buffaloes. The other animals to spot zebras giraffes, wildebeest, bushbuck, oryx, hyenas and impalas are common in this area. The park is also known home of African wild dogs. Stop for picnic lunch which will be saved at vantage point while keep your eyes to more than 440 birds that found within the park. Later back to you lodge for dinner and overnight.
On the last the beautiful Sound of birds will pop up in your ears lead you to wake up, following with a walking safari accompanied by company guide and armed ranger. Come across in a green vegetation zones, ranging from dense thickets to open wooded grasslands. After this morning awesome walking safari, then transferred back to your lodge for your tasty breakfast. Check-out at your lodge before transfer to Mtemere Airstrip where you will take your flight at around 10:35am back to Zanzibar and once after arriving zanzibar airport, Our driver will pick you up direct to your hotel.
